Is FormMate 80 free to use?
Yes. Creating an account, answering questions, saving progress, and downloading the completed Form 80 PDF are all free. FormMate 80 is funded by display advertising and never charges a fee to fill a government form.
How does FormMate 80 generate the Form 80 PDF?
When you click Download, FormMate 80 takes your saved answers and fills all 734 fields of the official Department of Home Affairs Form 80 PDF (Design date 03/21 — current version as of June 2026) on the server side. The completed PDF is then returned to your browser for download. You receive the same form the Department expects to receive — with your answers properly placed in each field.
Do I need to install any software?
No. FormMate 80 runs entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to download or install. It works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Can I update my Form 80 answers after downloading?
Yes. Your answers remain saved in your FormMate 80 account. You can return, edit any section, and download a new PDF at any time. This is useful if you discover an error in your answers after the initial download, or if your circumstances change between starting and submitting your visa application.
Does FormMate 80 share my data with the Department of Home Affairs?
No. FormMate 80 does not share your form data with the Department of Home Affairs or any other government body. Your data is used solely to generate your completed PDF when you request it. You are responsible for submitting the PDF through ImmiAccount.
What if the Department sends me an s56 request asking for Form 80?
An s56 (section 56) notice is a formal request for additional information from the Department. If it asks for Form 80, complete the form as soon as possible and upload it to ImmiAccount before the deadline. See the Form 80 s56 request guide for what to expect and how to respond.
