What it is
FormMate 80 is a free, independent online wizard built to help people complete Australia's Form 80 Personal Character Assessment. It was created by Naveen, an Australian-based developer who found the standard Form 80 PDF difficult and error-prone — especially for applicants filling it out in a second language, or trying to recall decades of address and employment history in a fixed-size text field.
The tool guides applicants through all 20 sections of Form 80 using plain-English prompts, structured date pickers, and row-by-row tables for address history, travel, and employment. Progress is saved automatically. When finished, it generates the official filled Form 80 PDF (Department of Home Affairs template, design date 03/21) ready for review and upload to ImmiAccount.
How it works
FormMate 80 runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to install. Create a free account with an email and password, answer each Form 80 question using the guided wizard, and click Download when done. The server fills the official PDF template with your answers and returns the completed file directly to your browser.
Your answers are saved to your account automatically as you go. You can pause and return from any device. There is no time limit. Completed forms can be re-downloaded as many times as needed, and answers can be corrected before final submission.

Privacy and data
Your form answers are stored on encrypted servers and transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. FormMate 80 does not sell or share your personal data with third parties. It does not submit any information to the Department of Home Affairs — you upload the completed PDF yourself through ImmiAccount.
